An FBI SWAT team arrested a third suspect wanted for the deadly mass shooting on Edgewood Avenue in July 2025.
Agents said they found Ze’kevious Perry at a home in Montgomery, AL. He was charged in April with one count of felony murder and 10 counts of felony aggravated assault.
Two other suspects – Rico Arnold, 19, and Nasir Williams – were previously arrested days after the shooting and charged with murder and aggravated assault.
The shooting incident wounded 10 people and killed Santos Wyatt, a 27-year-old father.
Wyatt’s mother, Colandra Atkinson, told Channel 2’s Eryn Rogers that the past nearly 14 months have been hard, but the news of an arrest is welcomed.
“I’m over excited. I’m glad that all three are off the street. I’m just ready to go. Let’s just go to trial and get justice for my son,” Atkinson said.
