The Atlanta Music Project, which provides musical training and college prep to underserved students across the city, is hosting a block party in the Capital View neighborhood on Sunday, Oct. 11, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
AMPlify the Block will serve as a fundraiser for the organization and a showcase, with live performances from AMP students. There will also be free food, booths from other local organizations and other AMP supporters.
Admission is free and open to the public but guests will have the opportunity to make a donation during the festivities.
The party will take place on Fairbanks Street, around the corner from the AMP Center in Capitol View. Reserve free tickets at atlantamusicproject.org.
