Engel & Völkers Atlanta Advisor Ken Covers represented the sellers of 1770 Merton Road in a $4.75 million closing – the highest recorded sale in the neighborhood’s history.

“A record sale is never just about the property. It is about understanding the neighborhood, buyers’ needs, and the right way to bring the two together,” Covers said in a statement. “It has been an extraordinary experience watching Morningside grow and become the coveted place to call home, like it has. As a 25-year resident myself, Morningside has been the focus of my work for years. I’m so proud to have represented the Sellers as the Listing Agent, with a closing that sets a new standard for the community.”

Designed by Frank Neely and custom-built by Neil Johnson of Canonbury Homes, the one-owner residence features a limestone, granite, and slate exterior, custom interior design elements, a pool, and a putting green.

Covers has surpassed half a billion dollars in sales during his 26-year career, ranking among Atlanta’s top one percent by sales volume.

“Ken’s achievement reflects what we believe exceptional representation should look like,Christa Huffstickler, Founder and CEO of Engel & Völkers Atlanta, said in a statement. “His commitment to Morningside gives clients the benefit of genuine local fluency, while our brokerage gives him the platform to present extraordinary homes at the highest level. We are proud to celebrate this milestone with him.”
