A Halloween tradition returns to Little Five Points this weekend, Oct. 17-18, bringing two days of live music, local art, costumed characters, and spooky attractions to the neighborhood.
The Little 5 Points Halloween Festival & Parade runs both days, with the artist market on Euclid Avenue from noon to 6 p.m. Organizers expect more than 100 artists and vendors, allowing visitors to shop for handmade art, crafts, and other unusual finds while supporting independent businesses.
The festival’s signature event, the Halloween parade, is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday along Moreland Avenue. This year’s theme, “Cryptids, Creatures and Community Legends,” celebrates mythical monsters and the neighborhood’s colorful history.
Other attractions throughout the weekend include ghost tours, roaming performers, a pet costume contest and an immersive horror experience at the Little Five community center. Families can also participate in a monster sticker hunt Saturday, with artwork created by students at Little Art School. Live music is scheduled at Euclid Yard both days, with the Atlanta Circus Alliance among the performers featured Saturday evening.
The annual celebration is produced by the Little 5 Points Cultural District and the Little 5 Points Business Association.
The festival runs from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with the parade beginning at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free, though some special activities may require tickets or registration.
