Days before the November election, Georgia’s most populace county announced a change of multiple polling locations.
The Gwinnett County Elections Office said eight locations were moving, one of which was due to a “recent change in property ownership” making it an emergency change.
The other seven locations changed “for various reasons,” with the county saying voters were notified at the time of the change.
Still, the county said voters should always double-check polling locations before going to cast their ballots.
The county maintains an updated polling location list here.
According to documents shared by the county, polls 011, 059, 076, 096, 104, 108, 123 and 133 are in new spots for Tuesday’s vote.
Polling location 059 was changed due to the property ownership problem mentioned in the county announcement.
Instead of voting at the Landmark Church on Holcomb Bridge Road, voters for 059 will vote at Unity Atlanta Church, located at 3597 Parkway Lane in Peachtree Corners.
If voters are confused, the county said maps showing the changed locations are available at the Board of Registrations and Elections office on Grayson highway in Lawrenceville.
