DeKalb puts tax credit on the November ballot

DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond has proposed an Equalized Homestead Option Sales Tax (EHOST) credit for homeowners who qualify for a homestead exemption, which if approved in November, would save homeowners $1 billion over six years starting in 2024.
