Chef Paul Albrecht and his son Patrick have opened The Burger Club in the Vinings Jubilee shopping center, 4300 Paces Ferry Rd. The casual restaurant offers a “myriad of variations on the all-American staple,” including a lamb burger and the self-described Artery Annihilator with bacon and cheese served between two glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts. www.greatfoodinc.com.

Homegrown Restaurants has announced it will close Stella Trattoria in the Oakland Park building on Memorial Drive on Dec. 30 and re-open as Doc Chey’s in February. www.doccheys.com.

Metrotainment Cafes has opened its fourth Hudson Grille at 942 Peachtree St. in Midtown, serving innovative American cuisine, 50 draft beers and appealing to sports fans with its 60 high-def televisions. The coffers of Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities are $31,000 richer thanks to Brookhaven Dines-In, a series of intimate seated dinners catered by local chefs, parties and a luncheon, all held in some of historic Brookhaven’s finest and most elegant homes.
