running_santaLooking to stay active this season?  Or, just itching to have a fun, energetic weekend out with the entire family?  Jog over to Inman Park this Sunday, Dec. 13, Santa’s Safety Run, a 5K run/walk and short tot trot through historic Inman Park.

The race begins at 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Waverly Way.  Strollers and friendly dogs on leash are welcome.  Awards will be given to the male and female best overall race, masters, and first place finishers in categories grouped by age.

It is $25 to register for the 5K and $8 for the Tot Trot.  Participants can download and mail in their registration forms on www.Running4Fitness.com or www.RunGeorgia.com or can register online at www.Active.com.  To register in person, go to Phidippides Anslet Mall, 1544 Piedmont Rd., Atlanta 30342 (Cash/check only – make checks payable to Inman Park Neighborhood Association).  All registrants will receive a race t-shirt to commemorate their participation.
