Belgium solar development company Enfinity Corp. is relocating its American headquarters to Sandy Springs.
Sheri Wilburn, president of the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber, said Enfinity will lease about 6,500 square feet at the Concourse Corporate Center.
The company’s headquarters are in Waregem, Belgium, and its U.S. headquarters have been in Sacramento, Calif.
Enfinity, founded in 2005, has grown into one of the 10 largest photovoltaic development companies. Photovoltaic converts solar radiation into direct-current electricity.
The company is involved in developing projects in North America, China, India and Europe and has developed four solar farms in Spain. In the U.S., the company provides solar solutions for commercial, municipal and utility customers. It designs, funds and installs, as well as provides maintenance for the solar systems.
