Peggy Witt, of Witt & Associates realtors, has been selected the new president of the Brookhaven Community Connection (BCC), replacing Kelly Brantley, who was instrumental in founding the business and community focused organization.

Several board members also have changed as the organization begins its second year. Brantley, who runs the Brookhaven office of Edward Jones financial advisors, is leaving the board, along with former vice presidents John Bartkus, Jed Beardsley, Justin Epstein and Brad Trussell.

Other new members of the board are: Ron Patton, a financial advisor with J P Turner, becomes vice president; David Leaderman, of the Brookhaven Bank, is the new vice president of membership; Debbie Leonard Mayer, of Debbie Leonard ReMax Realty, is the new vice president of programs/events; Henry Spil, a CPA with Magellan Tax, becomes treasurer; Kim Gokce, of Community Radar, becomes vice president for communications, a new board position; Nick Gold, of Gold Concepts PR, and Wendy Bear, of State Farm Insurance, become vice presidents of public relations, and Lynda Martin, of Goodwin Growth Works, is vice president of sponsorships.

The new officers take over at the May meeting of the organization, which will be held May 11.
