Students from several Buckhead schools have been selected to take part in the Governor’s Honors Program this summer. The program offers six weeks of instruction for intellectually gifted and artistically talented students, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

The program is scheduled from June 13 through July 24 and will be held at Valdosta State University.

Students selected as finalists for the program, according to the education department or the various schools, include:

Atlanta International School: Neema Ebrahim-Zadeh, math; Sam Jactel, biology; Arianne Kaldeway, German.

Lovett School: Andrew Frazier, Latin.

Pace Academy: Michael Hopkins, math.

Westminster Schools: Monica Cesinger, visual arts; Jason Friedman, Spanish; Carol Lee, math; Jenny Qian, Spanish.
