The following information was provided to the Reporter by the Zone 2 precinct of the Atlanta Police Department from its records and is presumed to be accurate.

Aggravated assault

Unit block of West Paces Ferry Road – Police responded to a report of an injured person at the St. Regis Hotel at 2:40 a.m. May 30. A man had fresh blood on his face and clothes but refused to say who assaulted him. A hotel employee said the culprit was by the pool, and a man at the pool acknowledged having an altercation with the victim. But the man by the pool said the fight resulted from the victim’s attempt to assault his niece. No one wanted to prosecute.

2200 block of Bolton Road – A woman reported at 7 p.m. May 31 that another woman cut her face during an argument, then fled the apartment complex.

West Paces Ferry Road – A man attacked his roommate during an argument around 10:30 p.m. June 1.

Meadowbrook Drive – A woman was assaulted by her son at home midday May 31.

Roswell Road – A woman hit someone with her vehicle and drove away around 3 p.m. June 3.

Morosgo Way – A man hit his wife in the face, causing injuries, in the presence of their three children at 10:30 a.m. May 30.

Mecaslin Street – Two men heard someone in their apartment living room early June 3 and confronted a man who was leaving with a box in one hand. The intruder cut one of the residents on the right arm with a box cutter.

Peachtree Road – An officer was flagged down late May 31 in reference to people firing shots from a red Pontiac. The officer pulled over the car and saw a passenger toss a handgun under a parked car. That passenger, another passenger who had a stolen gun and the female driver were arrested.

Robbery

Around Lenox Drive at Peachtree Road – A man was walking and talking on his cell phone early May 30 when a silver BMW 745 pulled up. A gunman jumped out of the car and robbed the pedestrian of $3,000 in cash.

3700 block of Peachtree Road – A man snatched a purse from a woman, said, “I’m sorry I have to do this,” and ran off at 9:30 p.m. June 2.

3000 block of Peachtree Road – A man gave a teller at Wachovia Bank a note demanding money or threatening to shoot her at 11 a.m. June 1.

400 block of Lindbergh Drive – A man snatched a purse from a woman in her apartment parking lot at 2 a.m. May 30. When the woman resisted, the robber hit her in the head, then ran off with the purse.

2400 block of Coronet Way – Two gunmen approached three people walking together just after 4 a.m. May 30 and demanded everything they had. The robbers got away with a laptop computer, a wallet and $225 in cash.

2700 block of Defoors Ferry Road – Three men pulled a gun on a man delivering a pizza at 10 p.m. May 31 and took all of his money and the pizza.

1700 block of Howell Mill Road – A Subway restaurant was robbed just before 10 a.m. June 1.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A man hiding underneath a vehicle in a shopping center’s parking garage emerged behind a woman as she exited her car at 2 p.m. June 1. He placed something against her and ordered her to drop her purse and leave. The man and the purse were gone when security arrived.

Burglary

1200 block of Moores Mill Road – The front door to a house was kicked open during the day June 1, and a laptop computer, an MP3 player, a DVD player and cash were stolen.

3400 block of Ridgewood Road – Someone broke into a house and consumed items inside around 10:45 a.m. May 31. The burglar tried to flee when police arrived.

4300 block of Powers Ferry Road – A man arrived home at 3 p.m. May 31 to find the house open and a TV set missing.

4500 block of Sentinel Post Road – A woman arrived home at 11 a.m. June 3 to find the garage door open and the back door pried open. A safe and $100 in cash were stolen, but the culprit left behind jewelry, a laptop computer and a flat-screen television.

4400 block of Stella Drive – Locks were cut off the concession stand at the Chastain Amphitheater between May 31 and June 2, and alcoholic beverages were stolen.

2600 block of Lenox Road – A house was broken into at 12:30 a.m. June 4 while the owner was out of town. The culprit took a 42-inch plasma television.

600 block of Lindberg Drive – The property manager spotted a man climbing out of an apartment’s rear window at 10 a.m. May 31.

3000 block of Roxboro Road – A house was broken into between 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. June 4, and several items were stolen.

2700 block of Alpine Road – Several electronic items were stolen from a house during the day June 3.

2600 block of Peachtree Road – A man walked into the Cathedral of Christ the King at 3 p.m. June 2, entered an unlocked room and stole items from inside.

300 block of Peachtree Hills Avenue – Burglars forced their way into an apartment around 1 p.m. June 3 and grabbed several electronic items before fleeing when a neighbor approached.

2700 block of Piedmont Road – A man arrived at work at Chic’s Road Britannia the morning of June 5 to find that his office and desk had been broken into, although he could not tell whether anything was missing.

2100 block of Bolton Drive – A Nintendo Wii video game system was stolen from an apartment May 31.

Bolton Drive – Someone broke into an apartment by cutting open a screen on a kitchen window June 5 and stole a briefcase, a laptop computer, a camera, a passport and two birth certificates.

600 block of Trabert Avenue – Aluminum door frames were stolen from Vintage Mill Work between May 29 and June 1.

300 block of Deering Road – Someone kicked open an apartment’s front door and stole items June 3 or 4.

Larceny from auto

3400 block of Buckhead Loop – While a vehicle and trailer were parked in a lot overnight June 2, someone broke into the trailer and took several items.

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A window was broken out of a vehicle parked at Phipps Plaza on May 29, and a woman’s purse was stolen.

3400 block of Peachtree Road – Two purses were stolen from a vehicle that was parked with the valet at the Ritz-Carlton between 10 p.m. June 4 and 2:30 a.m. June 5.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A GPS unit and a gold Cartier watch were stolen from a vehicle between 11 p.m. May 30 and 2:15 a.m. May 31.

100 block of West Wieuca Road – A window was broken out of a vehicle June 2, and a laptop computer was stolen from under the passenger seat.

West Wieuca Road – A window was smashed out of vehicle June 4, and a checkbook was stolen.

3400 block of Lenox Road – The 22-inch rims were stolen off a 2008 Dodge Charger overnight May 29.

700 block of Miami Circle – A GPS unit was stolen from a 2003 Chevrolet van on May 29 or 30.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A window was broken out of a vehicle June 2, and a laptop computer was stolen.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A window was broken out of a vehicle between 5:10 and 5:55 p.m. June 3, and a pair of shoes was stolen.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A laptop bag was stolen from a vehicle between 8 and 8:20 a.m. May 28.

2600 block of Piedmont Road – A 2002 Cadillac Escalade was broken into between 5:30 and 9:15 p.m. June 2, and items including a designer purse, a designer wallet, sunglasses and $682 were stolen.

700 block of Sidney Marcus Boulevard – A window was broken out of a vehicle parked in a lot overnight May 29, and a GPS unit was stolen.

100 block of Buckhead Avenue – A briefcase containing a laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle between 6 and 7:15 p.m. June 4.

300 block of East Paces Ferry Road – A GPS unit and a radar detector were stolen from a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe overnight June 4.

Mathieson Drive – The license plate was stolen off a vehicle between June 1 and 4.

Unit block of West Paces Ferry Road – A laptop computer and books were stolen from a vehicle June 2.

2900 block of Peachtree Road – A black 2005 Chevrolet was broken into June 1, and an MP3 player, a shotgun and sunglasses were stolen.

200 block of Pharr Road – A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle the evening of June 2.

300 block of Pharr Road – A laptop computer was stolen from a black 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe on June 2.

500 block of Main Street – A laptop computer, TV sets and a stereo were stolen from a 2000 Ford overnight June 3.

700 block of Miami Circle – A digital camera was stolen from a vehicle the morning of June 1.

2000 block of Howell Mill Road – A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle midday June 1.

Moores Mill Road at I-75 Northbound – A briefcase containing a laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle around 9 a.m. June 3.

1700 block of Northside Drive – A GPS system and a CD player were stolen from a gray 2004 Dodge Dakota between May 28 and 31.

Howell Mill Road – A 2003 Nissan was broken into between 12:30 and 12:40 p.m. June 4, and $1,500 was stolen.

2200 block of Bolton Road – The car stereo was stolen from a vehicle in an apartment parking lot between 1:30 and 3 a.m. June 5.

300 block of Armour Drive – A laptop computer was taken from an unlocked vehicle outside D&N Electric between 8:30 and 9:15 a.m. June 1.

200 block of Ottley Drive – A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle between May 31 and June 2.

1700 block of Peachtree Road – A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle between 6 p.m. June 3 and 2 a.m. June 4.

Auto theft

3400 block of Peachtree Road – A 1998 Toyota 4Runner was stolen from the Ritz-Carlton the morning of June 5.

3600 block of Piedmont Road – A vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of an apartment complex overnight June 1.

Unit block of Irby Avenue – A vehicle parked on the street was stolen overnight May 29.

Unit block of Pharr Road – A green Dodge Caravan was stolen overnight June 1.

2300 block of Peachtree Road – A black 1999 Jeep Cherokee was stolen the morning of June 5.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A white 1999 Buick was stolen from a lot during the day June 1.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A woman left her car in a shopping center’s lot overnight June 1 because of car trouble. When she returned the next day, the vehicle was gone.

1300 block of Collier Road – A driver left his keys in the center console of his vehicle when he parked it at 11 a.m. May 31. When he returned two hours later, the vehicle was gone.

1100 block of Huff Road – A vehicle parked on the street overnight June 1 was stolen.

Other larceny

4300 block of Town Commons Circle – A woman said he ex-boyfriend took her purse, an MP3 player and $10 in cash May 31. She got the purse back.

3300 block of Northside Drive – A man found three air-conditioning units missing from a house when arrived June 1 to cut the grass.

3400 block of Buckhead Loop – A man was caught shoplifting from Nordstrom at 5:30 p.m. June 5.

3500 block of Peachtree Road – Three people grabbed about $4,000 worth of clothing at Belk and fled at 12:30 p.m. June 4. The trio dropped most of the clothing but escaped with $814 worth of shirts.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shopper hid items in a bag and left T.J. Maxx without paying at 2:45 p.m. June 4.

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A woman took three items into a dressing room, hid them in her purse and left the store around 7:15 p.m. June 5.

3700 block of Roswell Road – A man said a woman picked his pocket while he was getting money from an ATM at SunTrust at 2 a.m. June 5.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Macy’s at 4:30 p.m. June 1.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at 3:30 p.m. June 3 after trying to steal a pair of sunglasses from Macy’s.

2000 block of Peachtree Road – A woman left her purse alone in a public building for 45 minutes June 2, and when she returned, her wallet and MP3 player were gone.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A woman’s wallet was stolen from her purse midday June 3.

Peachtree Road at East Shadowlawn Road – The owner of a booted car managed to remove the boot and leave an Empire Parking Services lot at 3 a.m. June 5. The man either kept the boot or disposed of it.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – Two people were arrested in connection with a shoplifting at Bloomingdale’s at 8:30 p.m. June 5. One was a juvenile and was released to her stepsister; the other was a legal adult and was sent to jail.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A man was arrested at 12:30 p.m. June 5 in connection with a shoplifting from Target.

3200 block of Peachtree Road – Two people used fraudulent checks to buy gift cards from Marshall’s with the help of a store employee between May 16 and 29.

3400 block of Roswell Road – A homemade flatbed trailer was stolen from the Peachtree Presbyterian Church parking lot June 4.

2300 block of Peachtree Road – Two flat-panel televisions were stolen from the patio area of the Cheyenne Grill between 4 and 9 a.m. June 5.

600 block of Longwood Drive – A woman said her mail was stolen from her mailbox May 28.

2800 block of Northside Drive – An MP3 player was stolen from the Atlanta International School at noon May 29.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – Walmart security caught a shoplifter just before 8 p.m. May 30.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A woman used her purse to hide merchandise in an attempt to shoplift from Walmart at 6 p.m. June 2.

2000 block of Bolton Road – A man stole an air conditioner from a house early May 30.

2200 block of Bolton Road – Thieves stole large potted plants from the front a house just before noon May 31.

1400 block of Chattahoochee Avenue – A man locked up checks and cash in a drawer at Peachtree Tents and Events at 5 p.m. June 1, but the next morning the money was gone.

2200 block of Parkview Court – A shoplifter was arrested at Walmart at 7:30 p.m. June 3.
