Visitors to the Georgia Governor’s Mansion can learn about Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, thanks to members of the sisterhood of Temple Emanu-El in Sandy Springs. The theme for the display, tucked into an alcove in a ballroom, is “A Great Miracle Happened There: Stories, Celebration and Tradition.” “Part of the holiday tradition at the governor’s mansion is to showcase the many facets of the holiday season,” mansion spokeswoman Michelle Parks said in a press release.”We have an annual Hanukkah display and are excited to have Temple Emanu-El provide this year’s visuals.”
