The Dunwoody Police Department arrested 30-year-old Chantel Calloway of Chamblee in connection with the robbery of Regions Bank, located on Mount Vernon Highway.

It was third third bank robbery in Dunwoody in the last two weeks.

Calloway entered the bank in the morning and handed the teller a note demanding cash, according to police.

The suspect was holding a baseball hat and a wig in an attempt to disguise herself, police said.

She fled the bank. Police didn’t disclose how much the suspect allegedly took.

As police responded to the event, they came across a suspect that matched the description of the suspect, minus the hat and wig.

The officers detained the suspect and transported her to the bank, where she was positively identified.

With the assistance of a Doraville Police K-9 unit, police were able to recover the disguise.
