Sandy Springs City Council approved a $75.9 million general fund budget for fiscal 2012, which beings July 1. The council unanimously adopted the new budget during its meeting June 21. The budget includes $69.9 million in revenue from taxes, $3.6 million in revenue from fines and forfeitures and $1.2 million in revenue from licenses and fees. The council approved a total budget for the year, including all funds, of $168 million.
