Oglethorpe University has a new head of its student housing services.
Daniel Glassman starts work July 5 as Oglethorpe’s director of residential life, the school announced. Glassman, who is working on a doctorate at the University of Georgia, has worked as assistant director of residential life at Elon University in North Carolina.
“As Oglethorpe continues to expand and elevate the services we offer to our students, we’re delighted to have Danny on board,” Michelle Hall, Oglethorpe’s dean of students and vice president for campus life, said in a statement released by the school. “His expertise in student services and demonstrated commitment to diversity make him a welcome addition to our campus community.”
