A 21-year-old motorcyclist died after being struck by a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old on Oct. 1.
According to a release from the Dunwoody Police Department, a man, later identified as Christian Yeshitela, was driving westbound on Tilly Mill Road around 5:15 p.m.
A silver Honda Accord, driven by a 17-year-old female, was traveling southbound on East Madison Drive. The driver, while making a left turn onto Tilly Mill Road, collided with the motorcycle, ejecting the male rider.

“EMS personnel were on scene and performing life-saving measures on the motorcyclist, who was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital and later succumbed to his injuries,” the release said.
This incident remains under active investigation. The release did not indicate whether or not the driver of the Honda Accord would face any charges in connection with the incident.
