The Perimeter Community Improvement Districts and the Georgia Department of Transportation are warning travelers this weekend to expect delays from roadwork on I-75 and I-285.
The trouble spots will be I-75 south of I-20 and I-285 between Chamblee-Tucker and Ashford-Dunwoody Roads, the agencies reported.
In press releases, GDOT said I-285 would see two right eastbound lanes closed from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to Buford Highway and two left westbound lanes closed from Chamblee-Tucker Road to Ashford-Dunwoody Road from Friday at 9 p.m. untilMonday at 5 a.m.
On I-75, three right southbound lanes will be closed from University Avenue to Cleveland Avenue all weekend as well, a press release says. Perimeter CIDs reports the I-75/I-85 southbound ramps to Metropolitan Parkway and Ga. 166 will also be closed for resurfacing. The Perimiter CIDs press release says detours will be in place for those ramps.
