Dunwoody Police have identified the man they believe stole a purebred puppy from a local pet store.
Romyo Mays Cassadine, 25, is suspected of stealing a $1,800 Maltese puppy from Petland on Ashford Dunwoody Road on Jan. 22, police said Jan. 30.
Cassadine has several tattoos, police said. The name “Romyo” is tattooed on his abdomen and the name “Chris” is on his chest. He has a tattoo of a cross on his right shoulder and theater masks on his left shoulder.
According to Dunwoody Police, the suspect asked an employee at Petland if he could hold the puppy while he waited for his boyfriend to come into the store on Jan. 22. While the employee wasn’t looking, the man ran out of the store with the puppy and jumped into a black compact car driven by someone else.
Anyone with information about the suspect or incident is asked to contact Det. Andrew Thompson of the Dunwoody Police Department at 678-382-6921 or andrew.thompson@dunwoodyga.gov.
