This little Piggy dropped by a Buckhead home on Thursday and has gone to live on an Alpharetta farm.

Imagine coming home and finding this in your carport.

This little piggy dropped by Sonya Parker’s Buckhead home on Thursday, June 7, and no owner has stepped up to claim it. The poor pig’s tale had a sooiee-weet ending, and its antics provided hours of entertainment for Parker’s family.

Parker, who lives on Mountain Way North East, said she knew something was up when she heard her dog barking like crazy. When she went to investigate, she discovered the pig, which she informally calls Piggy, just hanging around. Parker suspects it was abandoned.

“There haven’t been any flyers around,” Parker said.  “… You would think if someone was really missing their pig, there’d be flyers up by now.”

She said the pig is “definitely a pet.”

Parker said Piggy has moved out to a farm in Alpharetta where it will safely spend its days surrounded by fainting goats and other barnyard animals.

It’s a fitting fate for the perky pig, Parker said.

“He really is such a sweet, sweet pig,” Parker said. “It’s like having a little puppy follow you around.”
