Get into the London Olympic spirit by visiting the Atlanta History Center on Saturday, Aug. 11, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the family program, Go For the Gold.

Throughout the day, guests can explore the Olympic Games’ nearly 3,000 year history through a variety of activities including tours of the History Center’s Centennial Olympic Games Museum exhibition, meeting Olympic medalists and professional sporting demonstrations. There will also be fun and games with long jump, cycling, and rowing activities at the interactive sports lab, and opportunities to rank skills as an Olympic athlete by participating in ancient and modern sports.
