New businesses offering everything from accounting to photo processing to dry cleaning services are starting up in the Perimeter, one of the largest commercial areas in metro Atlanta. Here’s a sampling of recent ribbon cuttings formally marking the opening of new businesses in the area. Sandy Springs’ officials joined Ronald McDonald and restaurant owners Joyce Stafford, center left, and Allen Stafford, center right, on April 12 to commemorate the re-opening of the McDonald’s location at 6360 Powers Ferry Road. Albany-based Draffin & Tucker, LLP, a certified public accounting firm, recently opened a branch office at Five Concourse Parkway, Suite 1250, in Sandy Springs, and celebrated with the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce and the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce. Sierra Place Apartments recently joined the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, and celebrated the remodeling of their clubhouse with a ribbon cutting.
