U.S. Rep. Phil Gingrey, R-Marietta, is running for the U.S. Senate seat held by retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss. A number of candidates already are campaigning to replace Gingrey. The election will be in 2014.
Here is a list of the candidates who are either running or considering a run. All candidates are Republicans, because the redistricting of the seat has made it unlikely there will be a serious Democratic challenger on the ballot.
