(CBS ATLANTA) A resident of an apartment building on DeKalb Avenue discovered a man’s body inside a sleeping bag in the parking lot early Tuesday morning. Police were called to the 1600 block of DeKalb Avenue at about 12:30 a.m.
The man appeared to be in his 40s or early 50s, said Atlanta Police Homicide Commander Paul Guerrucci. A caller to 911 reported that a garden hose was found wrapped around the body, but police would not confirm that.
“I can’t go into all the details right now,” said Guerrucci. “But right now there’s nothing that’s overly suspicious. However, we can’t take any chances, so we will process accordingly.”
