Rathbun’s in Inman Park has been closed since July 4, when a kitchen fire heavily damaged the restaurant. After repairs and renovation, Rathbun’s will reopen on Sept. 23 at 5 p.m., which is also the kick-off date for Inman Park Restaurant Week.

Diners will not only notice the new kitchen, but also new paint, carpeting in the private dining room and refinished bar and tables. There’s also a new menu, wine list and dessert menu to try.

Rathbun’s managed to keep its staff busy during the closure by having them cross-train at Chef Kevin Rathbun’s other local restaurants. Because of the company’s insurance plan, they were also paid each week.

The restaurant is located at 112 Krog Street in the Stove Works building. For reservations and more information, visit rathbunsrestaurant.com.
