While the identity of the juvenile arrested and charged with the murder of Xavier Arnold is not being released, the boy is reportedly 14 years old. Atlanta Police would not confirm or deny the age of the alleged shooter, stating the investigation is ongoing and no information about the boy will be released because he is a juvenile. Arnold, 21, was gunned down during a robbery attempt on a bike trail in Kirkwood on Dec. 26, while his friend was shot in the leg. Police are still looking for a second suspect.

Nearly 150 people gathered Saturday night in the cold and rain for a vigil on Warren Street near the bike trail. Arnold’s parents,  friends and members of the community attended, many carrying or wearing the letter “X,” which was Arnold’s nickname.
