atlanta-traffic1-150x150If you’re traveling on I-85 south this weekend, prepare for traffic gridlock. The Georgia Department of Transportation said in a media release that up to four lanes of 85 southbound will be closed all weekend long so crews can replace signage for the under-construction 85/400 interchange.

The lanes will be closed from a half-mile north of Clairmont Road to North Druid Hills Road. Four of the six lanes will be closed from midnight to 7 a.m. Sunday morning and then again from midnight to 5 a.m. Monday morning. While the most lanes will be closed overnight, GDOT said three lanes will be closed during the day on Saturday and Sunday.
