Electronics RecyclingAtlanta City Councilmember Carla Smith, the City of Atlanta’s Department of Watershed Management and the Department of Public Works will host Atlanta’s largest recycling event, ecoDepot, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on April 19 in the blue lot at Turner Field.

This year’s ecoDepot will also feature free paper shredding of documents as a way to protect you from identity theft. Participants can also dispose of cooking grease. 

Please note: The following electronic items will be accepted on Saturday at ecoDepot: computer monitors, televisions (fee required),  microwave ovens, computer CPUs, stereos, telephones, laptops, copiers, CB radios, printers, video machines, CD players, disk drives, VCRs, portable radios, floppy drives, camcorders, cell phones, test & networking equipment, cameras, keyboards, modems, record players, scanners, circuit boards, speakers, electrical panels, typewriters, battery back-up, fax machines, CD Roms,projectors, cables and computer mice.

The following E-Scrap items WILL NOT be accepted: Vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, washers, dryers, freezers, De-humidifiers or humidifiers, gas-powered equipment, tires, household trash and NON-electronic equipment.

Volunteers will be on hand to retrieve all items from vehicles. ecoDepot is limited to households only.
