Want to hear some vintage Coltrane while waiting for the next MARTA train? During the month of May, MARTA customers will be treated to “Jazz Mondays,” an annual event being co-sponsored in partnership with the Atlanta Jazz Festival.

The free, two-hour jazz concerts are part of the “31 Days of Jazz” kickoff celebrating the 2014 Atlanta Jazz Festival. These concerts will take place in the following stations:

· Monday, May 5: Doraville Station, Performance by the Antonio Rodriquez Latin Jazz Ensemble – 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

· Monday, May 12: College Park Station, Performance by Dashill Smith’s Omega Level and also the Tree-O of Love – 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

· Monday, May 19: Midtown Station, Performance by SG4 – 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

The 2014 Atlanta Jazz Festival will take place at Piedmont Park May 23–25.
