Spalding Drive Charter Elementary School has a new principal. According to Fulton County Schools, Lynn Johnson, currently principal of Mimosa Elementary School in Roswell, has been named principal of the Sandy Springs school. She replaces Christine Young who retired earlier this year.
Johnson has served as Mimosa’s principal since 2010 and before that was the assistant principal for five years. She previously was a teacher at Manning Oaks Elementary in Alpharetta and also at schools in Cobb County and Ohio.
She holds degrees from Georgia State University and Kennesaw State University.
