Donations for the Brookhaven family that lost everything in a house fire on July 1 will be collected at the Brookhaven Farmers Market this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Brookhaven Baptist Church, 1294 N. Druid Hills Road.

The most needed items are household items and clothing and supplies for the mother (size 4, shirt size small, shoe size 8).  The family reports that clothing and toy needs for the 4-year old daughter have already been met, with the exception of ballet and tap shoes in child size 8-9.  Household items that are the priority include dishes, utensils, other kitchen supplies, towels, sheets, pillows and electronics. Gift cards, cash and checks will also be accepted.
