The Georgia Department of Transportation will be doing roadwork on I-120 this weekend near Downtown, weather permitting. Re-striping of exit ramps along I-20 will be happening at Flat Shoals Avenue, Glenwood Avenue, Capitol Avenue and Windsor Street. The projects will take place overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and the ramps will remain open, but GDOT says to expect delays.
Also expected to cause traffic: The Braves weekend series against the Padres tonight, Saturday and Sunday; the BB&T Atlanta Open tennis tournament at Atlantic Station; the Drum Corps International Southeastern Championships at the Georgia Dome; and the Heritage Arts and Soul Festival at Underground Atlanta.
