An anonymous donor has stepped forward and offered to match every dollar donated to the Dad’s Garage Kickstarter campaign up to $150,000 to help secure its new home in the Old Fourth Ward.
The gift hinges on the theatre company reaching its initial goal of $116,000 – of which they’ve raised over 70 percent to date. Dad’s Garage has released this explanatory video about the potential matching gift. If Dad’s Garage can meet its new Kickstarter goal of $150,000, that would mean the company will have secured $300,000 to buy the church building on Ezzard Street.
