Actress, comedienne and jazz singer Lea DeLaria (“Orange is the New Black”) made the most of her time during Atlanta Pride weekend, whether it was a Saturday night appearance at My Sister’s Room, a spot as honorary grand marshal at Sunday’s parade or doing stand-up at Pride’s main stage later that day.

St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Brookhaven held its annual Veterans Day celebration on Nov. 11. Kindergarten and pre-first grade students sang a melody of songs including “This Land is Your Land,” “You’re a Grand Old Flag” and “There’s a Star Spangled Banner Waving Somewhere.”
