The price of the new Atlanta Falcons stadium has gone up again, this time by $200 million. According to a report in the AJC,  the Falcons told the Georgia World Congress Center Authority board at a meeting this afternoon that the price of the retractable-roof has risen to $1.4 billion from the $1.2 billion the team estimated a year ago. This is the second $200 million jump, as last year’s $1.2 billion figure represented an increase from an earlier estimate of $1 billion. The total budget for the Downtown stadium now stands at $1.4 million.

Atlanta Police are investigating a person attacked by a Siberian lynx in Buckhead. According to a report from WSB, a friend was feeding the big cat for a friend who was out of town. The person was reportedly bitten on the head. The Paces Ferry homeowner has a permit for the lynx and several other exotic animals. The animal was still in its cage when police and EMTs arrived on the scene.

A “community listening session” about the possibility of annexing more property into the city limits of Decatur will be held Dec. 7 starting at 4 p.m. at the Church at Decatur Heights, 735 Sycamore Drive, according to a report at Decaturish.
