The public is invited to two meetings to discuss proposals for connecting the Lindbergh and Avondale MARTA stations via light rail. The first meeting is Dec. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1438 Sheridan Road. The second meeting will be Dec. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Emory Student Activity & Academic Center, Room 316, 1946 Starvine Way in Decatur.
The rail line would likely have stations on Cheshire Bridge Road, Sage Hill, Center for Disease Control, the Emory University campus, North Decatur, Suburban Plaza and DeKalb Medical Center.
