Atlanta police are looking for a man who allegedly attacked a 14-year-old student as she walked to a bus stop near her home on Custer Avenue in southeast Atlanta this morning.

According to our media affiliate CBS46, the incident happened around  8:20 a.m. as the girl walked to her bus stop on Boulevard. The victim told a resource officer at her school that a shoeless man in his 30s wearing a blue shirt and white pants started chasing her. She said the man caught up to her and grabbed her right arm. He then reportedly pulled out a knife and put it to her chest.

The suspect let the girl go after a women who witnessed the attack yelled that she was calling police.
