The proposed cities of LaVista Hills and Tucker have advanced through a subcommittee at the State Capitol this afternoon and will be heard by the full Governmental Affairs Committee on Wednesday, March 8, at 8 a.m. at a location to be announced.

According to Decaturish, subcommittee member state Rep. Mary Margaret Oliver (D-Decatur) was the only “no” vote.
