A mother and two daughters were located unharmed and placed in protective custody after they were kidnapped early Saturday, April 4, according to Sandy Springs police.
They had been taken from the woman’s apartment at 66 Northwood Drive, police said, and found later in the day at a hotel in Norcross. Police were seeking the woman’s estranged husband, identified as Audel Cabrera-Penaloza, in connection with the event.
Sandy Springs Police saidon Facebook that Cabrera-Penaloza forcibly took his estranged wife, Victoria Flores-Medina, and two daughters, Areli, age 5 and Nazli, age 2, from the Northwood Drive apartment.
