The first Atlanta BeltLine Jamboree, a community-focused fundraiser that will celebrate the neighborhoods along the Westside Trail Corridor, will be held Saturday, May 16, from 2 to 8 p.m. The rain or shine event will feature live music, food, games and entertainment at historic Washington Park near Ashby MARTA station.
Some of the activities and participants at the Jamboree include Atlanta Police Path Force Mounted Patrol, Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Jazz Festival performances by the Melvin Jones Quintet and Theresa Hightower, Cartoon Network Characters, fire engines, free tennis lessons, rumba, health screenings by Piedmont Hospital, food trucks sidewalk art competition and many more.
