police-siren1Atlanta Police are searching for a woman who walked into a Wendy’s on Monday and left a note saying she was being held against her will.  According to AJC, the incident happened at the fast food restaurant at 1940 Piedmont Road in Buckhead. The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. on Memorial Day. After leaving the message, the woman voluntarily returned to a white 1997 Ford Ranger pickup truck. The vehicle had Georgia tag AZR1028. Anyone with information is asked to call the Atlanta Police Department’s Missing Person Unit at (404) 546-5498 or Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-TIPS.

A Buckhead family was held hostage at gunpoint by a pair of robbers on Memorial Day evening, according to a report from CBS46. The incident occurred around around 9:30 p.m. when two armed men forced their way into the home on Paces Ridge Road. Once inside, officers said the men covered the mom, dad and three small children’s head with towels and held them at gun point while they ransacked the home for valuables, taking jewelry. The thieves then forced the father to go to a local ATM and take out $200.

Decatur Police have arrested an 18-year-old man after he allegedly stole a woman’s purse, then stole her vehicle, according to a report from Decaturish. The incident happened just after 8 p.m. on Sunday on East Lake Drive. Octavious Morrell, 18, of DeKalb County was arrested after he abandoned the stolen car and hid behind a tree in a back yard.
