Suspended DeKalb CEO Burrell Ellis has been sentenced to serve 18 months in prison on his convictions for lying to a grand jury and trying to extort a campaign contribution from a county vendor, ajc.com and WSB-TV Channel 2 are reporting.
Ellis was sentenced July 8.
