Atlanta Police are looking for a suspect who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at 4454 Roswell Road in Buckhead this morning, Nov. 12. According to police,  a lone black male suspect entered the Wells Fargo at 10:15 a.m. The suspect approached the teller window, pointed a handgun at the teller and said, “Give me all your money!” The teller gave the suspect approximately $7,000. He then escaped in a red SUV traveling westbound on Wieuca Road. Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, 20-25 years old, short, thin build, wearing black jeans, black sweat shirt, black hat and a red bandanna covering the lower half of his face. Restaurateur Tracy Mitchell has turned herself in for a fatal hit-and-run that happened early Wednesday morning in Edgewood, according to a report from Georgia Voice. Atlanta Police say security cameras showed Mitchell in an argument with the victim, Emily Cameron, inside a car on Arizona Avenue around 1:30 a.m. The victim was getting out of the car when the driver accelerated in reverse, knocking her to the ground, running her over and then fleeing the scene. Mitchell 45, is the owner of Bad Dog Taqueria in Emory Village. Cameron was a photographer and graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design who also worked at The Pinewood.

Atlanta Police are investigating an overnight smash-and-grab burglary at a clothing boutique in Virginia-Highland. According to the AJC, the thieves used a brick to shatter the front door of 310 Rosemont on North Highland Avenue before 4:30 a.m. this morning. Security video showed three people wearing jackets, hats and masks to hide their identities entering the store and taking various clothing items before getting into a waiting vehicle.
