Dunwoody Police are searching for a man who robbed the PNC bank at 125 Perimeter Center West on March 22. This is the first bank robbery in the city for 2016.

“Yesterday afternoon, shortly before 5 p.m., a … male entered the bank and produced a large black handgun,” said Sgt. Aaron Belt, spokesperson for DPD.

The armed man demanded money and the teller handed over an unknown amount. The bank robber then left the bank of foot.

The suspect was described as a 40-50 year old male, light complexion, 5-foot 8-inches to 5-foot 10-inches and weighing about 160-170 pounds with medium length brown hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a short sleeve orange t-shirt, khaki pants and brown construction style boots, Belt said.

Dunwoody Police typically investigate about six bank robberies a year, Belt said.
