Brookhaven city officials have scheduled a pair of public hearings Tuesday, June 21, on the city’s proposed 2016 tax rate.
Brookhaven City Council will hold the hearings at City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road. The first is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and the second for 6:01 p.m.
The council is scheduled to vote on the millage, proposed at 2.74 mills, at its meeting starting at 7 p.m. June 21, after the final public hearing.
City property taxes are computed by multiplying the assessed value of a property by the millage.
