A rendering of the new Whole Foods at 14th and West Peachtree in Midtown.

Attendees of the Midtown Alliance Annual Meeting at the Fox Theatre on Feb. 19 got the news that the massive new Whole Foods Market is set to open in April.

Bobby Turner, South Region President for Whole Foods Market and Midtown resident, discussed the company’s decision to move its regional headquarters to Colony Square and said the opening date for the new store is April 5.

Set to be Whole Foods’ largest store in the southeast. Turner said the 70,000 square foot store opening at 14th and West Peachtree Streets will be one of the biggest connection hubs for the Midtown community, complete with a rooftop terrace and programming for everything from yoga to movie nights.
