Parliament of Owls, Midtown’s owl-themed community lantern parade, is back July 27 for a second year with an expanded flight path and an all-new nesting location at Colony Square’s.

Participants and spectators are encouraged to wear black and white and gather for the event at 8 p.m. at Colony Square’s The Grove greenspace on 14th Street. The parade will step off at 9 p.m. led by the Black Sheep Ensemble.

Visit the website to pick out a prime viewing spot, print a free owl mask or sign up for an Owl Workshop led by parade creator Chantelle Rytter (who also created the Art on the BeltLine Lantern Parade) and make your own lantern.
