While an initial opening date of May 10 was previously reported, the owners behind Halidom Eatery food hall in East Atlanta moved that date to Friday, May 24. This new opening date also depends on the receipt of the food hall’s final permits to operate.

The Moreland Avenue food hall, located in Atlanta’s Woodland Hills neighborhood, offers food from 11 restaurant stalls like Buena Papa Fry Bar, Grind Time Coffee Co., Locale Island Eats, Luca’s Brooklyn Pizzeria, Luze Mexicano Cocina, and Mad Dads Philly’s.

The food hall also includes a dedicated takeout station, ample indoor and outdoor seating, and a cocktail bar called Bar La Rose, which seats up to 30 people. The entire Halidom complex will eventually feature an open container policy and a two-acre green space for outdoor events.

Look for weekly events, too, including soul and R&B music on Mondays, tequila and wine specials on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, kids activities on Saturdays, and Sunday brunch with mimosa flights and a DJ.

The food hall partnered with local nonprofit MUST Ministries, allowing people to donate a portion of their bill to the organization to assist community members and families in need. Other such charitable giving opportunities will be presented to Halidom Eatery patrons throughout the year.

Located in the Woodland Hills neighborhood, Halidom is home to the headquarters of consulting company IST Management Services, with apartments, retail spaces, and a two-acre park with walking trails. Ground broke on the full Halidom project in September of 2020.
