The Friends of Dorothy C Benson Senior Center accepted a $10,000 grant from the Sandy Springs Society.

The funds will be used for audio and visual equipment for the center’s multipurpose room and computer lab.

The grant was one of 42 awarded to nonprofit organizations in Sandy Springs that received part of the $370,000 the Sandy Springs Society funded in 2024.

The Sandy Springs Society decided to hand out the grant checks in person.
