As of 8:55 p.m. on July 4, the City of Atlanta reported that the water main break detailed below has been repaired.

In a statement posted on social media, the city reported, “Crews have restored water service to five apartment complexes and two fire hydrants affected by the 8-inch water main break at the intersection of Lakeside Dr., NE, and Kingsboro Rd., NE.”

Atlanta Watershed crews are working to repair a water main break at the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Kingsboro Road in Buckhead.

Officials said in a press release that water service has been interrupted as repairs continue on the 8-inch line. A timeframe hasn’t been released for when the water will be flowing again.

The outage is impacting five apartment complexes:

• The Grandview – 3481 Lakeside Dr., NE
• AMLI Flatiron – 3480 Lakeside Dr., NE
• AMLI Lenox – 3478 Lakeside Dr., NE
• The Villa at Buckhead Heights – 3435 Kingsboro Rd., NE
• Kingsbury Luxury Apartments – 3443 Kingsboro Road., NE

There are two hydrants affected:

• 3480 Lakeside Dr., NE
• 3445 Kingsboro Rd., NE

The release said that traffic control measures are in place, so exercise caution when traveling through the area.
